We are excited to provide Tasmania’s first mid-week Farmer’s market! Come along every Wednesday, 12- 4.30 pm to buy delicious produce direct from your local Producers and Farmers. Check out our ‘Meet your Producers’ page, and ‘This Week at the Market’ to see what delights you will find at Market.
The Kingston Produce Market is an authentic farmers market, endorsed by the Australian Farmers Market Association. This means that all of the produce at market is sold by the people who have grown or produced it, and is made from a majority of locally sourced ingredients.
We are still and always looking for more local producers to help us fill our market and make it bubble with local goodness! As a genuine Farmers’ Market, we are seeking growers of primary produce, and those selling value added produce made from majority of Tasmanian ingredients. If you are interested in becoming a Stallholder, please phone 0417118819 or 0472739519. Alternatively, you can click on our For Stallholders tab, or leave a message here on the website.
The Kingston Produce Market is operated by Kingborough Council as a not-for-profit social enterprise. It was made possible by seed funding from the Heart Foundation’s Healthy Food Access Tasmania project.
We acknowledge that the traditional owners of the land within Kingborough are the Muwinina people (western side of Derwent River and Channel) and the Nununi people (Bruny Island). We pay respect to the traditional and original owners of this land, and pay respect to those that have passed before us and to acknowledge today’s Tasmanian Aboriginal community who are custodians of this land.
